Meet Mike Auber: Relentless Advocate for Suicide Prevention

In the years that followed, Mike did what he could to honor Mark’s memory—donating to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, joining fundraiser walks, and contributing to social media campaigns. Yet despite these efforts, he couldn’t shake the feeling that it simply wasn’t enough.

Determined to make a deeper impact, Mike founded the Mark Edward Fund. The mission of this foundation is clear and personal: to raise funds in support of local suicide prevention initiatives. Through partnerships with area hospitals and schools, the foundation aims to connect individuals in crisis with the support, resources, and community that can help them realize they are not alone—and that their lives are worth living.
